Join us for a special Artist Spotlight Tour with NYC-based artist Ryan Woodring, whose exhibition Face in Clouds, invisible ink is on view through April 2026. The exhibition brings together multimedia works that grapple with invisible illness, cycles of visibility and refusal, and the challenge of making the unseeable felt in a hyper-classified, post-AI world.

During this 45-minute program, Woodring will guide visitors through the gallery, sharing insights into works like his 3D-printed candies Today (and Possibly Tomorrow)—modeled during moments of illness—and his installation Sick and Tired at the Met, which reframes how care and time are quantified. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear directly from the artist about his process and themes, and to experience the exhibition in conversation with its creator.

The exhibition is sponsored by the Mayo Clinic Dolores Jean Lavins Center for Humanities in Medicine.
