2025 Winter Animation Camp

 

Animation Camp is a new program at Rochester Art Center that is designed for students ages 9 -12! This camp teaches campers animation principles and techniques across several mediums. We'll go over stop-motion, claymation, set design, character design, and narrative writing.

 

Campers will create several short animations throughout the week, building a showreel to premiere on the big screen at Pop’s Art Theater, a special screening open to family and friends.

Dates

Camp runs Monday, December 29 - Wednesday, December 31 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a special screening at Pop's Art Theater.​​​​​

$180 per student

$150 for Art Center Members at the Explorer level or higher
