Reception for Forms of Care

Saturday, August 22, 2026, 1:00 - 3:00 PM | Free

Join us for a public reception celebrating Forms of Care: The Art of Representing the Body, co-curated by Zoe Cinel and LaVanda Mireles. This dynamic group exhibition brings together fifteen artists working across disciplines to explore how the human body is represented, and how care, consent, and connection can shape that process. Through drawing, sculpture, photography, and more, the exhibition invites reflection on the ethics and intimacy of depicting the body.

Enjoy an afternoon of art, conversation, and community, featuring live music by Vivian Lark, light refreshments, and brief artist remarks.

Free parking is available in the Civic Center Ramp (100 1st Ave SE), located on the west side of Civic Center Drive and is attached by a climate-controlled skyway.
