Join us for a virtual talk with artistic collective Oddviz about their artworks featured in the exhibition A Lapse into the Ephemeral.
A Lapse into the Ephemeral is a group exhibition of storytelling and new media showcasing artworks from artists/artistic collectives working internationally with 3D scanning technologies to preserve the ephemeral. Participating artists: Benjamin Busch (Germany) and Sadia Sharmin (Bangladesh/Sweden), Formafantasma (Italy/Netherlands), Clement Valla (USA), Oddviz (Turkey), shrin anlen (USA)
Oddviz is an art collective based in İstanbul that uses photogrammetry to 3D scan objects and locations and produce fictional 3D digital replicas of these spaces. Oddviz is composed of architect Çağrı Taşkın, expert in 3D modeling, visuals and visualization, environmental engineer Serkan Kaptan, now working at the intersection of digital arts, performance art and political ecology, and painter, photographer and digital artist Erdal İnci.
