15th Annual Southeast Minnesota High School Art Show


On View: Wednesday, February 18 - Saturday, April 4, 2026


Open House: Sunday, February 22 | Noon to 2:00 pm


Rochester Art Center, in partnership with 13 area school districts, is proud to present the 15th Annual Southeast Minnesota High School Art Show, an exhibition celebrating the creativity, skill, and artistic voices of high school students from across rural Southeast Minnesota.


This annual exhibition showcases a wide range of student artwork, highlighting both emerging talent and the strength of visual arts education in the region. Works will be on view in Rochester Art Center’s third floor gallery, offering the public an opportunity to engage with thoughtful and expressive artworks created by young artists.


The exhibition opens with a public Open House on Sunday, February 22, featuring free admission throughout the day.


2026 Participating Schools

Byron, Chatfield, Dover-Eyota, Goodhue, Lanesboro, Lewiston-Altura, Pine Island, Plainview-Elgin-Millville, Randolph, Red Wing, Rochester Lourdes, Rushford-Peterson and Spring Grove.


Our sincere appreciation goes out to the area art teachers for encouraging creativity in our students. 


We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the volunteers and staff who worked to make this exhibition possible.


Special thanks to Kevin Cardille for his years of dedication to the arts in Southeast Minnesota. We hope that this exhibition continues to inspire and showcase the incredible talent of this region's young artists for years to come.


Admission:

Gallery admission is always free for ages 21 and under!


Student artists, their families, and guests get free admission to the SE MN High School Art Show during the exhibition. A donation of $8 per person is greatly appreciated. Rochester Art Center is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit, and every little bit helps!
