Blue Star Museum
The Rochester Art Center is proud to be one of more than 700 museums to offer free admission to military personnel and their families this summer. The Blue Star Museums program runs from Memorial Day, May 30, 2011 through Labor Day, September 5, 2011, but it is a policy Rochester Art Center has chosen to adopt year-round.
The free admission program is available to any bearer of a Geneva Convention Common Access Card (CAC), a DD Form 1173, or a DD Form 1173-1, which includes active duty military and five immediate family members, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard, and Reserve.
To find out which museums are participating, visit www.arts.gov/bluestarmuseums. The site includes a list of participating museums and a map to help with visit planning. For questions on particular exhibits or museums, please contact the museum directly. Some special or limited-time museum exhibits may not be included in this free admission program.

Parking
Free Parking
Park free in any city ramp for the first hour, on weekdays after 5:00 pm until 1:00 am, and weekends from 9:00 am to 1:00 am. The Civic Center ramp is across from the Art Center accessible from First Avenue SE.
Meters
Meters are enforced 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, except major holidays. Meters are not enforced after 5:00 pm on weekdays or on Saturdays or Sundays.
Accessibility
Wheelchair visitor parking is available in the Civic Center ramp across the street.
