On the first Saturday of each month, the Art Center offers an array of free family-friendly activities:
- Hands-On Art Activities. In the third floor studios, children and families can participate in art projects that are designed to relate to the exhibitions on view at the Art Center.
- Arts Interact. Special docent-led tours of the exhibitions designed to spark conversation between children and family members.
- Family Guides. Information on the exhibition along with questions and discussion topics for children and parents.
FREE ADMISSION: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm • HANDS ON ART ACTIVITIES: 1:00 – 4:00 pm
February 4 | WinterFest Snow Globes
The WinterFest tradition continues! Using glass jars, miniature sculptures, found objects, glitter and a little magic, create your very own winter wonderland snow globe.
This FFD activity is a part or Rochester WinterFest X.
Over the weekend we will also be collecting donations to support Channel One's "Mile of Mac & Cheese" campaign. Please consider picking up a few boxes on your way in this weekend to support families in Southeast Minnesota.
