new! art together Wednesday, 1 – 2 pm

Sometimes messy, but lots of fun! Parents & toddlers work together to create paintings, collages, sculptures, drawings, group murals, and prints. Process, not product, is emphasized.

Parents & toddlers ages: 2 1/2 – 3 years

young printmaker’s studio Tuesday, 4 – 6 pm

Explore a variety of printmaking techniques, such as block printing, monotype, and collography. You’ll use fun materials to create your own printed cards, book covers, and posters!

digital photography & photoshop Saturday, 10 am – 2 pm

Learn the basics of digital photography, spend some time shooting photos and discover ways to artistically alter them using Adobe Photoshop. Class will have a break for lunch.

young sculptor’s studio Tuesday, 4 – 6 pm

This one-day workshop will show you how easy and fun it is to create a sculptural work of art. We’ll use many different techniques and materials to make our own sculptures!

comics comics Saturday, March 8

In this workshop, students will learn about the history of comics, the process of making a comic strip and have a chance to craft and print a black and white comic strip of their own!

kid’s art Thursday, 10 am – 12 pm

Kids ages 4 – 6 will have fun learning the basics of art. Sculpture, painting, mixed media and other projects will challenge creativity and personal expression. Each session is unique.

kids art summer camp Monday – Thursday, 10 – 11:30 am

Introduce preschoolers and kindergarteners to art-making in this summer Kids Art offering. In each four-day session, kids have fun learning the basics of art. Sculpture, painting, mixed media and other projects will challenge creativity and personal expression. Each session is unique; students may sign up for each session for a new and exciting experience.

Tuition: $55 member / $75 non-member

For all courses, the registration deadline is one week prior to the class.

Classes for children are offered during the school year on Saturdays or weekday afternoons. Past topics include sculptural, art history, painting, printmaking, and general creative explorations. During the summer, Total Arts Day Camp provides a weeklong arts experience for children. Younger children can partcipate in KidsART during the summer.
